This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accomplish annual budget goals for the designated sales territory.
• Develop a detailed business strategy to enhance both short- and long-term performance of the territory.
• Oversee the implementation of a consultative sales process, from qualification to contract negotiations for all opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Create a strong opportunity pipeline through proactive (cold calling) and coordinated efforts.
• Prepare for and actively engage in the future enhancement and development of McKesson products and services by utilizing insights from our pharmacy partners.
• Offer clients marketing guidance and financial analysis to help formulate financial plans, managed care information, competitive insights, and profit-maximizing opportunities through sales methodologies and programs that highlight the advantages of company products/services/technologies.
• Craft sales proposals, conduct business reviews, deliver sales presentations on specific products and services, demonstrate products, develop merchandising strategies, and execute sales promotions to expand existing business or acquire new accounts.
• Maintain a strong focus on fostering solid relationships with key customers to build and sustain the credibility necessary for long-term business retention.
• Provide problem-solving and troubleshooting support to customers in managing existing accounts through collaboration with other departments.
• Participate in sales team presentations when applicable to further enhance business growth opportunities, refine selling skills, and deepen understanding of the customer base.
• Keep up-to-date, precise, and detailed data in Salesforce.com CRM, ensuring accurate real-time sales forecasts.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sales, marketing, business management, or a healthcare-related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of sales experience with a proven record of success in delivering results and exceeding sales targets.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Medical and/or Pharmacy field.
• Over 4 years of B2B field sales experience.
• Experience in retail/distribution, healthcare delivery, pharmacy, community pharmacy, benefits, or the insurance industry is beneficial and preferred.
• Proficient in using a CRM tool (e.g., Salesforce, ACT).
• Competent in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
• Employ a consultative sales approach to identify and meet customer needs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
