Pharmacy Refill Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Deliver integrated support to pharmacy personnel and Shields Health Solutions Liaisons.

• Ensure the precise and prompt filling and delivery of specialty medications.

• Make outbound calls to patients, guiding them through the refill process.

• Address, resolve, and triage incoming inquiries.

• Confirm prescription orders with pharmacists and/or clinicians.

• Proactively manage medication refills, including data entry tasks.

• Organize, manage, and update relevant data utilizing database applications.

• Engage in initiatives aimed at process improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required Licensure/Certification: State registration as a pharmacy technician; national certification is preferred.

• Years of Experience: Required: 1+ years; Preferred: 5-8 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

• Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.

• Strong interpersonal communication abilities.

• Excellent phone skills.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

• Strong organizational skills are essential.
