Clinical Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Engages in member outreach with a professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach.

• Collects and confirms patient information before transferring cases to a pharmacist.

• Conducts outreach to prescriber offices to obtain necessary documentation and clarify medication details.

• Executes benefits investigations, including eligibility verification and formulary coverage assessment.

• Prepares the non-clinical aspects of medication-related cases for pharmacist evaluation.

• Acts as a liaison among members, providers, and internal pharmacy teams to address and resolve issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient-facing Pharmacy Technician role.

• Comprehensive understanding of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in Pennsylvania and/or relevant state.
