This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Responds swiftly and professionally to customer inquiries, striving to resolve issues effectively while supporting overarching customer service objectives.
• Collaborates with fellow team members on various projects and assignments, sharing ideas, distributing workload, and facilitating team-oriented problem-solving.
• Adheres to organizational policies and regulatory standards, consistently showcasing ethical behavior and compliance with all guidelines.
• Diligently manages patient records by processing new admissions, updating demographic information or status changes, handling refills, transferring patients, and completing necessary documentation.
• Produces work of high quality by maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness across all tasks assigned.
• Provides outstanding service to hospice partners, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
• Completes all mandated Skill-Based Learning to remain informed about processes, systems, and professional development expectations.
• Efficiently handles a high volume of incoming calls, providing timely assistance while maintaining a calm, customer-focused demeanor.
• Assists callers with service-related issues, including package tracking and service failure reporting, and completing CS report forms.
• Supports local pharmacies by aiding in claims adjudication and contributing to fulfillment operations at designated locations as necessary.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• May participate in projects associated with pharmacy and clinical practice & professional development.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Registration with the state board of pharmacy is mandatory for the state of residence.
• Previous pharmacy experience is necessary.
• A demonstrated passion for enhancing patient experiences and healthcare outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy across all tasks.
• Consistent adherence to all relevant privacy, security, and safety policies, ensuring compliance in daily operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities in both verbal and written forms.
• Displays drive, dedication, and a proactive approach to fulfilling responsibilities.
