📋 Description

• Leverage data insights to pinpoint prescriptions that are either delayed or stalled, and take necessary actions.

• Build, foster, and sustain working relationships with regional network specialty pharmacies, along with their leadership and staff.

• Educate pharmacists and their teams regarding patient access and affordability programs that may benefit patients.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers (HCPs) to ensure complete, accurate, and timely prescription submissions to Network specialty pharmacies or health plans, reducing therapy delays.

• Act as a Network Specialty Pharmacy partner within the designated geography, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.

• Cultivate a strong working relationship with the sales team and their leadership.

• Support the Field Reimbursement and Patient Services Team in identifying opportunities for ongoing process improvements through root cause analysis and by recognizing training needs.

• Conduct needs assessments and provide relevant education for HCPs, including topics like CoverMyMeds, the Prior Authorization (PA) process, and pharmacy procedures.

• Coordinate cases with representatives from patient support service programs (HUB) to ensure that patient and physician needs are met promptly.

• Inform physician office staff about patient assistance programs and call center support services, including web-based provider programs.

• Participate in POAs and Regional conference calls, offering education, training, and feedback on network pharmacy positioning and the current market access landscape, to facilitate a clear path for both HCPs and patients.

• Relay timely updates on patient access to the National Account Directors to keep them informed about pharmacy claims and the PA process for PBMs and payers.

• Collaborate with the Field Reimbursement and Patient Services Team on patient cases requiring additional support and training initiatives with network pharmacies.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in all activities.

• Manage personal travel schedules and arrangements when required for business travel.

• Prepare and submit expense reports promptly.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree or Licensed/Certified Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of 5+ years of experience, including work with a Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Health Plan, or healthcare provider’s office, in managing the prescription fulfillment process.

• Proven working knowledge of pharmacy benefit design (Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and prior authorization processes).

• Prior experience working with pharmacies and/or office-based physician practices is preferred.

• Must understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy.

• Demonstrated capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines, quickly identifying issues and providing solutions.

• Strong interpersonal abilities, with a talent for developing robust working relationships and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

• Capable of delivering presentations to both small and large audiences.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional planning and organizational abilities.

• Attention to detail is crucial.

• Proficient in working with data, swiftly analyzing trends, and taking appropriate actions.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
