Pharmacy Care Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Assist in the precise reading, interpretation, and input of prescriptions into the computer system.

• Calculate dosages and provide appropriate instructions.

• Timely acceptance of proper insurance payments.

• Forward incomplete or ambiguous prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification.

• Enter missing prescription details once clarification has been received.

• Handle inbound phone inquiries and engage with customers.

• Collaborate across functions to address questions, resolve issues, and offer education.

• Uphold the company's reputation for delivering high-quality service.

• Manage new patient enrollment and verify insurance coverage.

• Conduct benefit investigations and process medication orders for both new and existing patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Idaho.

• Minimum of six months experience in a pharmacy technician position.

• At least six months of experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.

• Six months of proficiency in computer keyboarding and aptitude.

• Active and valid Pharmacy Technician Registration in the state of Idaho.

• Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router located within 7 feet of the computer.

• Minimum download speed of 25 mbps and upload speed of 3 mbps.
