This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Make inbound and outbound calls to patients concerning intricate Specialty medication orders, benefits verification, and the enrollment of new patients.
• Organize and manage requests for new and refill medication shipments.
• Gather necessary information to confirm insurance coverage for patient medication orders.
• Verify eligibility, prior authorization, and other reimbursement criteria before shipment.
• Aid in enrolling and monitoring new customer referrals.
• Provide an overview of CVS/Specialty services to new clients.
• Redirect or escalate clinical inquiries and issues to the staff pharmacist for resolution.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service position managing and addressing a high volume of complex customer inquiries over the phone.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Windows-based applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with computer keyboarding skills and proficiency.
• A direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router located within 7 feet of your computer.
• Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps.
