This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls to patients concerning intricate Specialty medication orders, benefits verification, and new patient registration.
• Organize and facilitate requests for the shipment of new and refill orders.
• Gather essential information required to confirm insurance coverage for patient medication orders.
• Validate eligibility, prior authorization, and other reimbursement criteria before shipment.
• Aid in the enrollment and monitoring of new customer referrals.
• Explain CVS/Specialty services to new customers effectively.
• Redirect or escalate clinical inquiries and issues to the staff pharmacist for resolution.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role addressing complex customer needs over the phone.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Windows-based applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word).
• A current and valid Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as mandated by the State of FL.
• Over 1 year of experience in computer keyboarding, demonstrating skills and proficiency.
• A direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router located within 7 feet of your computer.
• A minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 3 Mbps.
