Pharmacy Care Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Make inbound or outbound calls to patients concerning intricate Specialty medication orders, benefits verification, and onboarding of new patients.

• Organize and manage requests for new and refill order deliveries.

• Gather necessary information to guarantee insurance coverage for patient medication orders.

• Confirm eligibility, prior authorization, and other reimbursement prerequisites before shipment.

• Aid in the enrollment and monitoring of new customer referrals.

• Explain CVS/Specialty services to newly acquired customers.

• Redirect or escalate clinical inquiries and issues to the staff pharmacist for resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in a customer service position managing and addressing a high volume of complex customer needs via phone.

• More than 1 year of experience with Windows-based applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word), web navigation, and email clients.

• At least 1 year of experience with computer keyboarding, along with relevant skills and aptitude.

• Possession of a valid Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as mandated by the State of AZ.

• A direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of your computer is required, along with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps.

• A secure, distraction-free home workspace is necessary.
