Pharmacist – Prescriber, GLP1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide safe and evidence-informed weight management services.

• Conduct remote assessments of patient consultations.

• Prescribe GLP-1 medication for repeat prescriptions when clinically justified.

• Stay informed about NICE guidelines related to weight management and obesity treatment.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records in compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR).

• Evaluate and review online consultations for repeat prescriptions of weight loss medication.

• Recognize contraindications, safeguarding issues, and potential red flags.

• Offer clear and precise counseling to patients.

• Must be registered with the GPHC.

• Qualified as an Independent Prescriber.

• Proof of insurance is required.

• A personal laptop is necessary.

• Must possess the Right to Work in the UK.

• Previous experience with GLP-1 medication for weight loss is preferred.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

• Proficiency in IT is essential.

• Must be current with mandatory training requirements.
