Pharmacist – Part Time, Weekend Shifts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct individual patient consultations to educate them on medical cannabis, discuss various consumption methods, and recommend suitable treatments based on physician certifications.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient records, documenting consultations, recommendations, and any pertinent information while complying with privacy and data protection regulations.

• Ensure strict adherence to Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana laws and dispensary regulations, including accurate record-keeping, verification of patient certifications, and management of the Prescription Monitoring Program.

• Dispense medical cannabis products in accordance with physician recommendations and patient requirements, ensuring proper usage and dosage.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in cannabis pharmacology, contributing to patient care with evidence-based recommendations and industry insights.

• Collaborate with the Dispensary General Managers and other team members to facilitate seamless operations and meet key performance indicators.


⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license, in good standing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.

• Over 1 year of experience in a pharmacy environment assisting patients/customers.

• Successful completion of any State-required Medical Cannabis education programs.

• Capacity to learn and understand cannabinoids and their interactions with the human body.

• Ability to work efficiently with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members, and the general public.

• Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes, and organizational policies, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures.

• Comprehensive understanding of cannabis pharmacology and its therapeutic uses, or a willingness to gain this knowledge.

• Exceptional communication, patient education, and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail, along with organizational and leadership abilities.
