This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Conduct telephonic consultations with patients regarding the use of their specialty medications and the management of their health condition.
• Carry out medication reconciliation, assess for potential drug interactions, and offer recommendations for managing side effects.
• Analyze physicians' prescriptions and reach out to prescribers for clarification when necessary.
• Accelerate the processing of orders and confirm prescription details.
• Deliver patient education through telephonic consultations as part of Lumicera’s Patient Management Program.
• Adjust to new workflows and processes, address unique pharmaceutical challenges, and keep up-to-date with innovations in specialty pharmacy therapies.
• Provide support to other pharmacists as required and document medication errors in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Graduate from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy with either a B.S. in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree.
• Hold a current, unrestricted pharmacist license in your state of residence; must continuously obtain educational credits to maintain active licensure.
• Preferably possess at least two years of experience as a practicing licensed pharmacist.
• A strong clinical background is essential.
• Experience and/or a solid understanding of Specialty Pharmacy medications is advantageous.
