Pharmacist, Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure adherence to both state and federal regulations, including Medicaid mandates.

• Conduct clinical assessments of medication therapy, which encompass prior authorization reviews and evaluations of drug utilization.

• Engage in peer-to-peer consultations with healthcare providers.

• Facilitate prescriber outreach for targeted clinical interventions.

• Offer clinical support to call center teams.

• Address pharmacy-related inquiries and manage escalations.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, optimize programs, and develop best practices.

• Assist in state meetings and contribute to state-required deliverables related to account management.

• Provide insights on clinical policies, drug utilization, and pharmacy operations.

• Ensure alignment of pharmacy strategies with regulatory standards and organizational goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in clinical pharmacy is required.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical pharmacy programs is essential.

• Familiarity with drug utilization review processes.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements is necessary.

• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare pharmacy programs or in PBM environments is preferred.

• Strong analytical capabilities are required.

• Excellent communication skills are a must.

• Proficient stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

• Ability to work remotely within the United States.

• Availability to provide coverage from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM CST.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% is required.
