Petroleum Sampler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collects samples of different petroleum or chemical products

• Obtains a representative portion of products from vessels, barges, and shore tanks

• Follows company and terminal procedures diligently

• Samples products from shore-based tanks or vessels in accordance with established protocols

• Identifies and accurately enters all necessary information on sample labels

• Communicates with Senior Petroleum Product Inspectors regarding work orders

• Cleans and maintains inspection equipment, ensuring proper calibration

• Ensures all pertinent data is accurately recorded in documents or files

• Cleans and maintains company vehicles

• Ensures cleanliness of workstations and inspection rooms

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required

• 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience is required or equivalent experience through education

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing sector role

• Valid local driver’s license, Class 5

• Experience in a petroleum-related field is considered an asset

• Excellent math skills are an advantage

• Proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
