This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Impact Development: Engage in the development, evolution, and maintenance of payment methods within the VD+ (Direct Sales) ecosystem, ensuring a smooth and secure journey for the reseller.

• Architecture Modernization: Actively participate in the decoupling process of legacy systems (monoliths) to modern microservices architectures, applying best design practices.

• Quality and Standards: Ensure high code quality and adherence to adopted architectural standards, utilizing concepts such as DDD (Domain-Driven Design) and Hexagonal Architecture in daily tasks.

• Migration and Cloud: Assist in the migration of services and support cloud infrastructure, aiding in the transition from Azure to AWS environments.

• Data Performance: Optimize complex queries and manage relational databases (SQL Server, RDS/PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases, ensuring resilience and low latency.

• Observability: Foster a culture of observability by monitoring production applications through logs and metrics, proactively addressing incidents in the payment journey.

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teams in the ecosystem (Checkout, Channels, Financial Products) on the technical refinement of stories and feasibility analysis.

• Team Growth: Support the technical development of less experienced engineers through targeted mentoring and actively participating in code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience with .NET (C#), mastering both current versions (.NET Core/.NET 8) and understanding legacy versions (.NET Framework).

• Experience in microservices architectures and practical experience in scenarios of transitioning/modernizing legacy systems.

• Knowledge of Cloud Computing, preferably with practical experience in AWS (and/or Azure).

• Proficiency in relational databases, with strong experience in SQL Server and knowledge of PostgreSQL.

• Focus on Software Engineering: Strong understanding of design patterns, clean code, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly and work within agile, multidisciplinary teams.

• Preferred: Previous experience in the payment industry and its regulations; Knowledge of Python.
