Perioperative Business Operations Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Oversee operational, strategic, and performance enhancement initiatives.

• Direct intricate projects from their planning stages through to implementation and ongoing support.

• Perform workflow evaluations, process mapping, and operational redesigns.

• Assist in initiatives aimed at improving patient access, capacity management, throughput, and operational effectiveness.

• Spearhead operational readiness efforts for facility relocations, renovations, expansions, service launches, and new program introductions.

• Create project charters, business cases, implementation strategies, and executive presentations.

• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and promote stakeholder engagement.

• Collaborate with Informatics, Information Technology, and Analytics teams to establish operational requirements and encourage adoption.

• Examine operational, financial, productivity, and performance metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Lead governance committees, operational councils, and project workgroups.

• Aid in change management, communication, training, and implementation efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare operations, project management, business operations, consulting, performance improvement, or a similar field.
