Performance Specialist – Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Redesign performance-critical features to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure robust scalability and efficiency.

• Lead performance testing initiatives.

• Examine performance-related constraints to identify both immediate and long-term enhancements and necessary modifications.

• Implement future architectural upgrades for the platform.

• Develop the platform to align with the expected standards of performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with Senior Architects to take ownership of and drive essential initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java enterprise settings.

• Extensive experience in performance-related areas (optimization, scalability, bottleneck analysis).

• Strong understanding of SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL).

• Experience in building enterprise-level financial solutions.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development.

• Experience in working within a globally distributed environment.
