Performance QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and implement performance, load, and scalability testing for key components of Veeam products, covering everything from requirement analysis and lab setup to test execution and result evaluation.

• Construct and sustain realistic enterprise-level test environments, incorporating extensive infrastructures and intricate topologies.

• Detect performance bottlenecks and system constraints, collaborating closely with developers, functional QA, and product managers to address these issues.

• Engage in root cause analysis of performance problems reported by Technical Support and customers.

• Take ownership of and enhance performance test labs, including environment creation, configuration, monitoring, and working in partnership with IT teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical background or a strong, hands-on enthusiasm for systems and performance.

• 1–2 years of experience in performance and/or load testing, or a robust practical foundation in system performance.

• Capability to analyze test outcomes and effectively pinpoint bottlenecks, limitations, and performance risks.

• Advanced knowledge of Windows and/or Linux, either as a user or in system administration roles.

• Good comprehension of system internals including CPU, memory, storage, and networking.

• Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and structured thinking abilities.

• A desire to advance as a performance and scalability engineer.

• Proficiency in English for daily communication within international teams.
