Per Diem Interventionalist – Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide protocol-specific, manualized interventions for the CARE and/or BBA-OACs research studies.

• Conduct CARE intervention sessions by phone for adults aged 70 and older who are experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety.

• Facilitate BBA-OACs intervention sessions through telephone or video conferencing for adults aged 65 and older.

• Maintain communication with the research team regarding participant scheduling and study-related activities.

• Adhere to study-specific intervention manuals and ensure fidelity of the interventions.

• Complete case notes and necessary study documentation following each session.

• Record and securely transfer session recordings in accordance with study protocols.

• Engage in required training and ongoing supervision meetings.

• Ensure compliance with institutional, state, federal, and study-specific regulations.

• Report to the Clinical Research Manager.

• Work approximately 1–5 hours per week, based on participant availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.

• Current licensure to practice Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology in California.

• Preferred experience in delivering psychosocial, behavioral, or supportive care interventions.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.

• Ability to commit to the position for a minimum of one year.

• Fulfill all applicable MSK, CITI, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Subjects Protection (HSP), and study-specific training requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to research quality and participant care.

• Ability to effectively engage older adult populations through remote interactions.

• Experience with videoconferencing platforms, secure file transfer systems, and standard computer applications.

• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the evolving needs of participants and the study.
