Per Diem Consulting Psychiatrist – Collaborative Care Model

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Behavioral Health Clinicians (BHCs) to facilitate the treatment of prevalent psychiatric conditions such as depression and anxiety.

• Weekly Case Reviews: Engage in 1-2 hour remote sessions with BHCs, providing insights on treatment progress, enhancing diagnostic clarity, and optimizing care.

• Treatment Guidance: Deliver documented treatment recommendations in EPIC, leveraging registry and population-based tools.

• Asynchronous Support: Remain available for communications from PCPs as required.

• Program Involvement: Work closely with our Medical Director and take part in remote monthly and quarterly program meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• BC/BE Psychiatrist comfortable in an ambulatory setting.

• Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR).

• Excellent ability to supervise non-psychiatrists, engage in care teams, and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

• Experience in consultation-liaison psychiatry or primary care behavioral health integration is an advantage!
