Peoplesoft Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Deliver user support for technical challenges related to PeopleSoft Financials and HCM via an internal ticketing system.

• Manage tickets to ensure users are kept updated on progress or any required feedback.

• Troubleshoot issues to determine root causes and propose resolution strategies.

• Create technical solutions for user-related issues, which may involve modifications to Peoplecode, SQL scripts, or other scripting to address data problems, updates, or workflow changes.

• Address performance issues in processes by pinpointing bottlenecks and devising corrective actions.

• Assist in testing new patches and PUMs.

• Adhere to procedural and policy requirements, particularly those concerning security and updates or migrations to Production systems.

• Provide necessary information to both internal and external auditors, or any required reviews.

• Offer post go-live support for solutions implemented in production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with the specified modules in PeopleSoft Financials & HCM, specifically in version 9.X.

• Advanced knowledge of People Tools 8.5x.

• Proficient in PeopleCode, including application packages and workflows.

• Established understanding of security components in PeopleSoft, with the ability to set up or modify these components as necessary.

• Strong track record of resolving technical issues and supporting a non-technical user base.

• Proven expertise in developing technical solutions for the specified modules in PeopleSoft Financials/HCM.

• Familiarity with approval workflows.

• Experience in designing integration broker messages, component interfaces, and other integration methods, with a preference for solution design involving Cloud SaaS solutions.
