• Oversee upgrades of PeopleTools and PeopleSoft applications, encompassing orchestration through Change Assistant, planning for PUM images, and coordination of retrofits.
• Develop and implement upgrade runbooks, cutover strategies, rollback plans, and validate environments through smoke, regression, and performance testing.
• Facilitate activities across multiple teams (DBA, security, infrastructure, and functional teams) to meet upgrade milestones and ensure platform compatibility across operating systems, databases, and application layers.
• Monitor and communicate the status of upgrades, identifying risks, issues, and decisions; maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) documentation linking upgrade activities to testing evidence.
• Provide direct administration across web, application, and process scheduler domains, including refreshing environments and tuning for performance.
• Implement PeopleSoft upgrades utilizing Change Assistant and PUM, which involves selecting images, applying PRPs, and managing DPKs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve access issues related to the environment (SSL, URL, login), swiftly restoring services in collaboration with client administrators.
• Leverage strong problem-solving abilities to balance immediate tactical solutions with long-term strategic improvements in the environment.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft Administration.
• Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.
• Over 5 years of direct PeopleSoft Administration experience across web, application, and process scheduler domains.
• Proven experience executing major upgrades using Change Assistant and PUM.
• Strong understanding of PeopleTools upgrade planning on enterprise Linux and Oracle database platforms.
• Capability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot intricate application and access issues.
