This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, assess, pilot, and expand AI tools that enhance workflows for the People team while balancing the speed of adoption, data privacy, and quality.
• Conduct audits, redesign, and document essential People processes such as onboarding, performance management, compensation cycles, and offboarding.
• Collaborate with PeopleOps and functional leaders to implement process optimizations and promote their adoption.
• Assist in shaping Extend's comprehensive AI strategy and provide training for People team members and managers on the effective utilization of AI tools.
• Be responsible for the accuracy and reporting of crucial People metrics, including headcount, attrition, hiring, and engagement.
• Ensure data integrity across the HRIS and other People systems.
• Create dashboards and reports suitable for leadership that reflect workforce trends, planning, forecasting, and self-service insights.
• Design and administer employee surveys and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Conduct analyses related to compensation, promotions, and calibrations to support pay equity and talent-related decisions.
• Ensure that People data practices adhere to privacy regulations and internal governance standards.
• Contribute to various People team projects within a dynamic startup environment.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in HR transformation, people analytics, or a related operational/analytical role.
• Proven experience in optimizing operational processes.
• Practical experience with AI tools such as Glean, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, and Gemini.
• Capability to promote AI adoption across teams with differing levels of technical proficiency.
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools like Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of key People metrics, including headcount, attrition, time-to-fill, and engagement.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable narratives.
• High attention to detail and a rigorous approach to maintaining data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty and prioritize tasks among multiple stakeholders.
• Sound judgment regarding data privacy and confidentiality.
• A collaborative, low-ego, and hands-on approach is essential.
• Experience collaborating with HRBPs, Recruiting, and People Operations teams is advantageous.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
