This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a primary point of contact for new employees, guiding them through the pre-employment and onboarding stages.
• Facilitate employee communications, including reminders, surveys, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance documentation is up-to-date, encompassing labor law updates, training tracking, and preparation for audits.
• Assist with state reporting obligations (such as new hire reporting) and management of tax accounts.
• Collaborate with state agencies (like the Department of Labor and Revenue) to address discrepancies and maintain compliance.
• Keep organized records across various systems, portals, and internal knowledge bases.
• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing employer branding to increase company visibility and attract talent.
• Generate and oversee social media content to showcase the company's employer brand and culture.
• Perform pre-payroll audits (including timesheets, PTO, commissions, and bonuses) to verify accuracy before payroll processing.
• Acquire knowledge and assist with new benefits enrollment processes, helping employees through enrollment steps and ensuring system accuracy.
• Update and maintain HRIS (e.g., Rippling) data, workflows, and reporting.
• Develop and revise documentation, internal resources, and knowledge base articles.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects spanning HR, Finance, and Compliance.
• Ensure prompt follow-up, organization, and execution of ongoing initiatives.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency with HR systems, alongside a willingness to learn and enhance technical skills.
