This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
β’ Provide support to people leaders within the designated client group, offering guidance and coaching to help them effectively lead and develop their teams.
β’ Foster accountability for performance, reliability, and behavioral standards through corrective actions.
β’ Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, addressing employee complaints, resolving conflicts, interpreting company practices and policies for both leaders and employees, and facilitating mutual agreements for a way forward.
β’ Cultivate a positive atmosphere for employees by coaching for their development and ensuring they feel heard and valued.
β’ Have a strong understanding of employment law, along with a solid grasp of HR risk mitigation and best practices across various HR generalist areas, with preferred expertise in compliance across multiple states (currently NY, CA, PA, MO, FL, NV, and expanding).
β’ Collaborate with the People Partner team on key initiatives and projects that contribute to the overall enterprise of the company.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in Human Resources, working with various client groups.
β’ Extensive experience in the philosophy and practice of corrective and disciplinary actions is essential.
β’ Exceptional communication skills, both in writing and verbally, in both individual and group settings; capable of conveying complex HR and legal concepts in clear, compassionate, and approachable language.
β’ A passion and proven track record for mentoring and coaching both managers and employees.
β’ Experience in supporting HR programs such as career pathing, leveling, learning initiatives, and calibrations; adept at enabling managers to utilize these and other tools effectively.
β’ Ability to monitor projects and programs, ensuring they progress to completion in a timely manner; capable of collaborating effectively with individuals across the organization.
β’ Comfortable with technology and data, familiar with multiple HR platforms.
β’ Skilled at thinking outside traditional HR parameters, excelling in humanizing HR to truly support and develop people, fostering a fulfilling workplace where everyone can excel.
β’ Naturally radiate positivity, compassion, and support; possess a strong sense of integrity and the ability to navigate HR compliance regulations; demonstrate a strong work ethic with a proven ability to follow through and achieve results.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in the HR field, including mastery of compliance and legal requirements.
β’ A formal education is preferred (Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and/or certifications); training and/or certification as a coach is also preferred.
