This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.
• Oversee a diverse array of employee relations issues, delivering prompt, practical, and legally compliant guidance to both managers and employees.
• Assist managers during performance management and probationary processes, ensuring outcomes are fair, consistent, and effective.
• Conduct or facilitate workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes in accordance with company policies and employment laws.
• Mentor and advise managers on matters related to people management, including employee relations, interpretation of policies, conflict resolution, and optimal HR practices.
• Create and maintain employment documentation, including contracts, letters, disciplinary decisions, performance records, and other employee files.
• Ensure that HR policies, procedures, and employment practices align with current employment laws and internal governance standards.
• Generate and analyze HR reports and people metrics to aid informed decision-making and identify workforce trends.
• Assist with organizational change initiatives, including restructures, consultations, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of fairness, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a generalist People Advisory or Employee Relations position.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in managing employee relations cases from initial consultation to resolution.
• Experience in supporting performance management, probation, disciplinary, grievance, and investigative processes.
• Exceptional coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong written communication skills, with experience in preparing HR documentation.
• Analytical abilities with experience in producing and interpreting HR reports.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• High degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) or currently pursuing certification (desirable).
• Experience in supporting organizational change, restructures, or consultation processes (desirable).
• Familiarity with HRIS and reporting tools (desirable).
• Experience working in a multi-site or international setting (desirable).
• Global remote team.
• Offices located in Gibraltar and Antigua, with additional bases in Malta and the Philippines.
