Pediatrician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee a panel of intricate pediatric patients: Manage care plans, collaborate with primary care providers and specialists, and ensure thorough care coordination.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team: Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, and social workers to deliver comprehensive care in a virtual-first approach.

• Represent Imagine Pediatrics: Act as the face of the organization in external forums, engage with local medical communities, and advocate for value-based, home-centered care.

• Provide high-quality virtual care: Conduct virtual enrollment visits, manage acute escalations, perform sick visits, follow up post-hospitalization, and execute in-home virtual assessments with support from our Mobile Integrated Care team (paramedics).

• Ensure continuity of care: Address care gaps, coordinate prescriptions, and facilitate referrals to eliminate barriers to timely treatment.

• Empower families: Assist and educate caregivers as they navigate complex care needs and long-term health journeys.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an unrestricted MD or DO with a valid Tennessee or Louisiana state license.

• Board Certification in Pediatrics and/or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.

• Enrollment in the relevant state Medicaid program is required.

• A minimum of 5 years post-residency experience.

• Experience in managing children with complex medical conditions.

• Emphasis on quality of care, as well as experience in population health and/or virtual care is advantageous.
