This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Promote, manage, and enhance Abbott Nutritional products within hospital environments.
• Establish and support sales objectives within major hospital systems for Similac, Neosure, and Human Milk Fortifier HPCL.
• Engage in hospital negotiations and contracting processes.
• Collaborate with hospital supply chain teams.
• Provide information on products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines in a sales context.
• Assist in the launch of new products.
• Navigate various hospital departments, including NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units.
• Effectively work alongside Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses.
• Organize time efficiently and handle administrative responsibilities.
• Manage budgets effectively.
• Operate independently with initiative and autonomy.
• Host educational events for Healthcare Professionals 1–2 evenings per quarter.
• Cover the greater Charlotte, NC area with daily travel and 5–10% overnight travel for regional and national meetings and training.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• The ideal candidate will be a NICU Registered Dietitian or a NICU Registered Nurse.
• Strong clinical and medical sales experience within a hospital setting is essential.
• Experience collaborating with Supply Chain and Health Care Professionals is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines is necessary.
• Understanding of the hierarchy within hospital departments, including NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills are required.
• Competence in budget management is essential.
• Ability to operate independently with a high level of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
• A self-motivated approach to achieving both short- and long-term objectives.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Candidates must reside in Charlotte, NC; local applicants only.
• Willingness and ability to travel daily and commit to 5–10% overnight travel for regional and national meetings and training sessions.
