This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ OpenEd Teachers are instrumental in guiding students throughout their academic journey.

β€’ Teachers engage directly with students and their families to offer encouragement, accountability, and personalized support while collaborating with colleagues within the program.

β€’ Assess and evaluate student learning logs, delivering timely and actionable feedback to facilitate student advancement.

β€’ Interact with students in synchronous settings, whether in 1:1, small-group, or large-group formats.

β€’ Mentor and tutor students enrolled in their designated courses.

β€’ Develop captivating lessons, activities, or learning experiences.

β€’ Customize resources and support to address individual student requirements.

β€’ Identify students at risk and coordinate suitable intervention pathways.

β€’ Communicate with parents to offer guidance and assistance.

β€’ Participate in IEP meetings as necessary and collaborate with relevant parties.

β€’ Work together with fellow teachers to share knowledge and provide support to students across the program.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Active teaching certification in Oklahoma, accompanied by a PE endorsement.

β€’ Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

β€’ Strong recognition that each child is unique and thrives on personalized learning approaches.

β€’ Compassionate, organized, patient, and a reliable communicator.

β€’ Proficient in using Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).

β€’ Confident in the ability to master various online tools, systems, and applications.

β€’ Capable of working independently and adhering to deadlines with minimal oversight.

β€’ Must have access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.

β€’ Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (may reside/work from any pre-approved location).

β€’ Preferred: Experience in non-traditional educational programs.

β€’ Preferred: Residency in Oklahoma is desirable, though not mandatory.
