This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Assist students throughout their educational experience
• Evaluate and assess student learning logs, delivering prompt and constructive feedback to foster student development
• Engage with students synchronously in individual, small-group, or large-group formats
• Provide mentorship and tutoring to students enrolled in designated courses
• Develop dynamic lessons, activities, or educational experiences
• Customize resources and support to address each student's unique needs
• Recognize at-risk students and facilitate suitable intervention pathways
• Communicate with parents to offer advice and assistance
• Participate in IEP meetings as necessary and collaborate with relevant parties
• Work together with other educators to share knowledge and support students throughout the program
• Focus on a core group of assigned students while also embracing additional responsibilities across the program
• Valid teaching certification in Kansas, including a PE certification
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strong belief that each child is unique and benefits from personalized learning experiences
• Compassionate, organized, patient, and a reliable communicator
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
• Confidence in learning various online tools, systems, and programs
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
• Must have access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (can reside/work from any pre-approved location)
