PDM/PLM Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Manage and provide support for Autodesk Vault.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Business.

• Engage with SolidWorks PDM (EPDM) and PTC Windchill environments.

• Take the lead and participate in initiatives aimed at system enhancement and development.

• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and readiness for audits.

• Assist with BOM, Item Master, and material master processes.

• Diagnose and resolve CAD and PDM/PLM issues across various CAD platforms.

• Aid in system upgrades, testing, and deployment efforts.

• Create and update documentation, standards, and best practices.

• Support data migration, consolidation, and standardization initiatives as necessary.

• Travel occasionally to sites for key projects or to engage with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in the field.

• Proven expertise in administering Autodesk Vault.

• Knowledge of SolidWorks PDM (EPDM).

• Familiarity with PTC Windchill.

• Experience with multiple PDM/PLM systems in a multi-tool setting.

• Background in a multi-CAD engineering environment.

• Strong understanding of engineering data structures.

• Experience in BOM and Material Management systems, including Item Master management.

• Knowledge of data governance and audit processes.

• Demonstrated success in supporting system enhancements.

• Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
