This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment associated with Anesthesia, Diagnostic Cardiology, and Maternal Infant Care modalities.
• Support seasoned field engineers in the installation and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Engage with customers to guarantee their satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise.
• Keep customer service logs and internal records updated in a timely manner.
• Independently respond to service calls within one year of employment.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education; OR successful completion of the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR a High School Diploma/GED coupled with 4 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Proficiency with web applications as well as the Microsoft suite of products.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• A valid Driver's License is required.
• The candidate must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs. without assistance and frequently bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, crouching/squatting, kneeling/crawling, sitting, and standing for extended durations.
