This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire talent acquisition process. Collaborate with cluster heads and onshore hiring managers to define briefs, source candidates through Naukri and LinkedIn Recruiter, conduct screenings, and extend offers within established parameters. You will provide insights on briefs and revise them as necessary.

• Establish Contour's employer brand in India from the ground up. Through platforms like LinkedIn, AmbitionBox, Glassdoor, and Naukri, you will understand our core values, collaborate on shaping them, and control the narrative of our story in India.

• Develop a campus hiring initiative. Identify key colleges, cultivate relationships with placement cells, and represent Contour at recruitment events. You will initiate this program from a foundational level in the first year.

• Provide guidance on team-level personnel decisions. Engage in performance discussions, restructures, and exits within the teams of cluster heads. You will come prepared with recommendations and oversee execution, involving the HR advisor for legal review when necessary.

• Collaborate with the onshore People & Culture (P&C) team. Reporting to the Head of India Operations, you will closely work with our Chief Experience Officer (Head of P&C across the organization) on documentation, playbooks, and policy alignment. They establish standards; your role is to adapt them for the Indian context.

• Manage HRIS and ATS operations. Configure and enhance Zoho Recruit (ATS) and Rippling (HRIS), and generate reports from these systems.

• Coordinate with external HR advisors and L&D freelancers. Provide them with briefs, hold them accountable for deliverables, and integrate their work into your function.

• Recruit and lead your own team. Expand your reports as volumes increase. You will be responsible for outputs. If a superior tool exists for any manual processes, advocate for it and we will support you.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7-9 years of experience in a generalist P&C, HR Business Partner, or talent-focused role with a comprehensive understanding of hiring, partnership, and personnel decisions.

• Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting within a dynamic environment, including conducting market-rate discussions with confidence and adjusting briefs as necessary.

• Background in advising on personnel decisions, including performance management and team exits. You will have a clear perspective on sequencing and associated risks.

• Experience with employer branding in the Indian market, utilizing platforms such as Naukri, LinkedIn, AmbitionBox, and Glassdoor.

• Excellent written English skills. Whether it's a candidate communication, briefing for a cluster head, or an update for an onshore leader, your messages will be clear and effective.

• Ability to work across time zones. Most of your work will occur during Indian hours with occasional overlap with Australian business hours.
