This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Handle third-party General Liability, Auto Liability, Errors and Omissions, and Law Enforcement claims.
• Conduct daily evaluations of workflow and claim system reminders, ensuring necessary follow-ups.
• Assess new claim assignments within 24 hours of receipt.
• Establish contact with the insured or claimant within 24 hours of assignment.
• Appoint appraisers or facilitate the collection of damage estimates in accordance with client guidelines or approvals.
• Collect evidence pertaining to damages.
• Interview or obtain recorded statements from the claimant, the insured, and relevant witnesses.
• Request payment authorization following client guidelines and Davies Claims North America policy.
• Adhere to client protocols for any claim denials.
• Achieve and maintain a 95% claim closure ratio.
• Report to the Excess carrier on any claims that meet the necessary criteria.
• A college degree or equivalent experience.
• Must hold an Adjuster license.
• Maintain CEU credits for the Adjuster license.
• Strong understanding of Tort Law, bad faith procedures, case law, principles of liability, and medical terminology.
• Prior experience in settling bodily injury claims.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proactive, independent, reliable, and able to take initiative with consistent follow-through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage diverse audiences in a timely manner.
• Superior time management abilities, with a knack for meeting deadlines.
• Exceptional multitasking capabilities and prioritization skills, coupled with excellent organization and documentation abilities in a fast-paced setting.
• High attention to detail, with adept decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
