Payroll Tax Consulting, Associate

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members on this extensive, multi-year strategic initiative aimed at establishing a new business.

• Support leadership in managing targeted client relationships.

• Oversee client projects, which encompass task management, file organization, adherence to project deadlines, and billing processes.

• Offer payroll tax consulting and expert guidance to clients.

• Assist clients in enhancing their payroll tax procedures.

• Aid clients in identifying and evaluating payroll tax refunds.

• Deliver M&A support to clients to meet reporting obligations and achieve cost savings.

• Provide services for federal and state audit support.

• Interact with federal, state, and local tax authorities to resolve client issues.

• Manage tax risk in a prudent, sensible, and rational manner.

• Assist leadership with research, publications, and presentations.

• Quickly grasp new concepts and familiarize yourself with a new business environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in payroll tax consulting.

• Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel spreadsheets.

• Experience in managing client tax deadlines effectively.

• Skilled in analyzing payroll data, client workpapers, and tax documents.

• Familiarity with tax legislation, IRS regulations, and general tax research.
