• You will independently manage the monthly payroll processing, ensuring its technical accuracy and timely execution.
• You are responsible for the correct application of wage tax and social security regulations, and you will assess more complex individual cases autonomously.
• You will collaborate closely with HR management to ensure that all payroll-relevant information (e.g., onboarding and offboarding, contract changes, absences, variable compensation components) is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• You will oversee all notifications to social security agencies, tax offices, and other authorities (e.g., ELStAM, social security notifications, annual reports).
• You will assist in wage tax and social security audits.
• Several years of experience in independently conducting payroll and salary processing.
• In-depth knowledge of wage tax and social security law.
• Proficient in using common payroll systems (e.g., DATEV).
• High level of expertise in assessing individual cases.
• Structured, precise, and reliable working style.
• Availability: Approximately 10–15 hours per month, scheduled around the payroll period.
• Proficiency in German at C1 language level, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ideally, experience with DATEV or comparable payroll/HR systems.
• Clearly defined area of responsibility in payroll.
• Structured collaboration with HR as a data supplier.
• Reliable and well-prepared data foundation for payroll processing.
• High degree of autonomy in executing your tasks.
• Remote-based collaboration with flexible scheduling.
