📋 Description

• Oversee and guide the junior payroll team, fostering their professional development and ensuring accurate results.

• Handle the complete payroll process for more than 15 states, serving as the final authority for intricate tax and system challenges.

• Expertly manage the withholding, filing, and reconciliation processes across 15+ states, including SUTA/FUTA, FICA, and local tax nexus.

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ADP Workforce Now, guaranteeing smooth system integration and data accuracy.

• Oversee the registration of new state tax IDs and ensure compliance with SUTA/FUTA/FICA regulations across an expanding US presence.

• Take the lead in addressing all federal and state tax notifications, garnishments, and year-end reconciliations (W-2/W-3).

• Deliver precise and timely reports to the C-suite regarding audits, 401k, and trend analysis.

• Transition the payroll function from manual processes to automated, scalable excellence.

• Tackle each day and task with a “ZAG” approach.

• Perform additional duties and projects as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• US Payroll Expert: Significant experience in managing US payroll, with multi-state experience being essential.

• System Power User: Advanced proficiency in payroll systems, including ADP WorkforceNow, Kronos/UKG, and Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Macros).

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPP certification is a significant advantage).

• Communication: Exceptional English communication skills, capable of articulating complex tax concepts to US-based personnel.

• Adaptability: Willingness to work from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PHST to accommodate US Eastern/Central time zones.
