Payroll Specialist – Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise payroll operations to guarantee timely and precise payroll processing.

• Gather and present essential operational payroll metrics and dashboards.

• Prepare and submit regular payroll reconciliation reports for management assessment.

• Manage and enhance payroll workflow, promoting efficiency and maximizing productivity.

• Conduct thorough audits of timesheets to ensure accurate distribution of wages and benefits.

• Accurately record and document all payroll transactions.

• Identify and rectify payroll discrepancies through detailed research and analysis.

• Collaborate with HR teams to implement necessary modifications and updates to payroll accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in payroll processing or a comparable role.

• Demonstrated experience with Workday; applications lacking this experience will not be considered.

• Proficient in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong working knowledge of payroll software systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of tax codes and regulations.

• Excellent bookkeeping skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven problem-solving skills and analytical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to work effectively within a team, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
