This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Manage payroll processes for various countries in Europe, ensuring precision and adherence to local regulations.
• Review, validate, and authorize salary registers for the European region, confirming that payroll data complies with country-specific rules and regulations.
• Create invoices within the HRIS system based on payroll information and promptly distribute them to clients.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding payroll and invoicing, offering clear and accurate insights into European payroll procedures.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance and develop payroll processes for the region, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with local requirements.
• Stay informed about regional employment tax regulations and laws, applying this knowledge to maintain compliant payroll processing.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, employer obligations, and pension contributions for European countries, especially Spain, France, Portugal, and Italy.
• Proficient in local employment tax regulations and compliance across the European region.
• 3-5 years of experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar capacity, focusing on payroll for European nations.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong communication skills for effectively managing client inquiries and collaborating with internal teams.
• Keen attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and capability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Experience handling multiple global locations with employee headcounts exceeding 500 across various countries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Outstanding multitasking and organizational abilities.
