This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards and People Operations, the Payroll Specialist will be tasked with ensuring precise and prompt payroll processing for crew members.
• Maintain the integrity of payroll data by collaborating with People Operations and Finance on payroll adjustments and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.
• Assist with audits and reconciliations, addressing crew inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of payroll processes and controls.
• A minimum of 3 years of comprehensive, multi-state payroll processing experience (experience with multiple locations is a plus).
• In-depth understanding of payroll legislation and best practices regarding confidentiality and controls.
• Practical experience with payroll tax matters (garnishments, W-2s, agency notifications) in collaboration with a payroll provider.
• Proficient in payroll, timekeeping, and HRIS systems (e.g., UKG, ADP, Workday, Paycom) with a quick adaptability to new software.
• Advanced skills in Excel (including lookups and pivot tables) and comfort in working with large datasets and reconciliations.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time for meetings, company training sessions, and events.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to following through on tasks.
