Manager, Payroll Connections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a group of Payroll Connection Specialists.

• Act as the main escalation point for complex issues related to Payroll Integrations.

• Establish team objectives, OKRs, and performance metrics.

• Enhance operational processes to boost efficiency and expand capacity.

• Examine integration challenges, pinpoint root causes, and implement long-lasting solutions across departments.

• Assist clients in navigating technical connections with over 400 payroll providers.

• Function as the subject matter expert and primary contact for Payroll Integrations.

• Provide education to both internal and external business partners.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize and streamline 401(k) contribution processing.

• Promote accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and a cooperative team atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a SaaS environment or the retirement industry; experience in payroll or 401(k) contribution processing is preferred.

• At least 1–2 years in a team lead, supervisory, or direct people management capacity.

• Demonstrated success in managing high-volume accounts and complex projects or implementations.

• Experience in establishing goals, success metrics, and KPIs to enhance team productivity.

• Capability to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve challenging targets.

• Ability to prioritize competing demands, assess urgency, and implement detailed action plans in a dynamic software environment.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation abilities.

• Effective collaboration skills across various departments and organizational levels.

• Strong interpersonal, conflict-resolution, decision-making, and team leadership skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
