This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver comprehensive payroll processing support for Managed Payroll clients.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients with varying deadlines in a dynamic setting.
• Serve as the designated Specialist for Managed Payroll and Payroll Administrative clients, while also assisting other OSV payroll, tax, and garnishment clients as necessary.
• Manage and address daily cases to ensure compliance with service level agreements and client satisfaction objectives.
• Handle escalated cases from payroll teams and stakeholders internally.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and escalations, conduct and document root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures.
• Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly calls with clients.
• Engage in new client onboarding and service-area discussions, including tax-related matters.
• Set up basic to medium-complexity Workday pay components, deductions, and run categories.
• Assist with the year-end process and contribute to special projects.
• Analyze quarter-end and year-end audit reports and provide recommendations to clients.
• Achieve quality and production targets as well as scorecard objectives.
• Maintain documentation for payroll services support.
• Collaborate extensively with colleagues and customer teams to assist clients and address requests.
• Associate's degree.
• Over 3 years of payroll experience with a focus on end-to-end processing, research, payroll logic, and troubleshooting.
• More than 3 years of customer service experience or demonstrated capability to function at this level.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Thorough understanding of payroll taxes, intermediate payroll configuration, and payroll compliance.
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional tax, payroll year-end processes, and W-2 support and adjustments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong critical thinking, consultative, problem-solving, organizational, analytical, data entry, research, mathematical, and time management skills.
• Capability to manage multiple clients, adhere to tight deadlines and competing priorities, and exercise independent judgment.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
• Preferred: experience in an outsourcing context (payroll or tax), Workday, and Salesforce applications.
