This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Responsible for processing daily, weekly, and biweekly payroll for approximately 1500 exempt and non-exempt staff.
• Handling garnishments.
• Making payroll adjustments.
• Managing reimbursements.
• Administering per diems.
• Ensuring taxes are calculated for all employees in compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Processing employee loans.
• Overseeing commissions.
• Ensuring client invoicing accurately computes, withholds, or deducts payments according to state and federal regulations as well as company policies.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and verifying payroll forms and reports for accuracy, making necessary corrections or adjustments.
• Possessing a strong analytical background and familiarity with Time Systems.
• Acting as a liaison to field staff, internal personnel, and interdepartmental teams to address payroll issues and inquiries.
• Researching, analyzing, and resolving payroll-related questions or issues.
• Issuing reprints of W-2 Wage and Tax Statements.
• Generating payroll data reports for management as required.
• Performing all other tasks assigned by the Payroll Manager.
• Supporting and executing the company's mission, ethics, and objectives efficiently.
• Presenting oneself in a positive and professional manner within the company and community.
• Complying with the dress code to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Reporting punctually and as scheduled to ensure work is completed within the designated timeframe.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Employee Agreement, or communicated by the executive team.
• High School Diploma is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll or accounting functions, or equivalent college coursework or vocational/technical training may be accepted in lieu of the required experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (additional languages are a plus).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Must possess a solid understanding of state and federal payroll tax requirements and be knowledgeable about regulations governing taxable income and wage reporting obligations.
• Residency in Texas, Colorado, Arizona, North Carolina, Washington State, or Tennessee is mandatory.
