This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the subject matter expert and primary payroll representative for the CSD payroll function.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of staff payroll in accordance with established procedures and best-in-class standards.
• Partner with People & Culture to facilitate prompt and precise onboarding and offboarding integrations.
• Supervise payroll activities conducted by the Operations team.
• Review timesheets of hourly employees for accuracy and compliance with expectations.
• Offer payroll guidance and education to Contact Center personnel and other staff members.
• Input and confirm employee changes within the payroll system, including those related to Contact Center locations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries regarding payroll and payroll system access.
• Function as a secondary administrator for the payroll system, managing access levels and permissions.
• Oversee the time clock system as a secondary contact and manage user access permissions.
• Process and confirm payroll garnishments and specialized deductions.
• Monitor, review, and audit timesheet approvals, reporting discrepancies to ensure accurate accruals and calculations.
• Set up deductions within payroll and benefits systems.
• Prepare year-end W-2 forms by the required deadlines.
• Assist with complex payroll reporting and deliver reports to administrators.
• Undertake special projects and provide updates on progress.
• Perform additional assigned duties.
• Strong project management capabilities, including analysis, planning, prioritization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Experience collaborating across Finance and HR functions, as well as with employees and management at various levels.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
• Proficiency in working with financial and payroll management systems and computer accounting software.
• Advanced mathematical and payroll accounting skills.
• Ability to clarify complex issues in easily understandable terms.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Capacity to exemplify organizational values and advocate for CSD’s products, services, and global community support.
• Effective use of Microsoft Office, with advanced-level expertise in MS Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least one year of professional experience in Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources or Payroll (PREFERRED).
• Certification as a Human Resources or Payroll Professional, such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CPP (PREFERRED).
• Proficiency in effective communication using American Sign Language.
