Payroll Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate HR, Payroll, and Benefits for various clients, encompassing employee health and welfare, retirement plans, and leaves of absence.

• Administer multi-state payrolls and HRIS components across different human capital management systems.

• Offer guidance to both management and employees regarding client-specific policies and procedures.

• Analyze existing policies and procedures and implement operational enhancements for multiple clients related to HR, Payroll, and Benefits Administration.

• Act as a primary support resource for Managers and higher-level positions concerning HR and Payroll Services across all functions for numerous clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field complemented by relevant experience.

• Ideally, 2-4 years or more of experience in HR, Payroll, and Benefits.

• Strong analytical capabilities along with problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.

• Completion of coursework or attendance in seminars focused on HR, Payroll, and Benefit compliance and strategies.

• Preferred certifications in HR, Payroll, and Benefits (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, FPC, CPP, CEBS).

• Familiarity with state and federal regulations, including COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, PDL, PFL, CFRA, ADA, and ACA.
