This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute biweekly and semi-monthly payroll for both exempt and non-exempt personnel, which includes clinicians, hourly workers, and corporate staff.
• Guarantee precise calculations of wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and contributions to benefits.
• Uphold the integrity of payroll system data and manage updates for new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in compensation.
• Collaborate with TriNet and the Finance department on payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance assistance.
• Act as the primary contact for payroll inquiries, addressing issues swiftly and with care.
• Oversee all employee leave of absence programs, such as FMLA, ADA accommodations, state and local leave laws, parental leave, personal leave, and workers' compensation leaves, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and company regulations.
• Work closely with People Operations, Clinical Leadership, and Legal teams to coordinate impacts on pay, benefits continuation, scheduling considerations, and reasonable accommodations, while maintaining accurate leave records and fostering a positive employee experience.
• Keep informed about federal, state, and local payroll/tax regulations, especially in the context of multi-state healthcare employment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry-specific standards (e.g., credentialing, licensure, and timekeeping norms).
• 3-5+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR/people operations.
• Proficiency in payroll and HRIS systems, particularly TriNet.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and tax obligations.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company is a plus.
