This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work remotely from any location within the United States
• Handle the complete weekly payroll process, ensuring all changes, additions, terminations, or additional payments are accurately included and processed.
• Conduct all pre and post transmission auditing and validation
• Manage the Daily Pay program and transaction processing
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local tax regulations
• Administer timecards and absences for the non-exempt employee group
• Process stop payments and direct deposit reversals
• Prepare check and direct deposit files for payment vendors
• Respond to employee inquiries and address discrepancies within established SLA guidelines
• Reconcile all banking transactions for each payroll period
• Provide backup support for other payroll team members
• Process manual checks on a daily basis
• Proactively identify areas for improvement
• Create ad hoc reports as necessary
• Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by management
• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 7 years of experience in multi-state payroll processing and data entry
• Preferred experience with Oracle HRIS and ADP Smart Compliance
• Familiarity with Payroll Tax filing
• Should be a self-starter, detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess strong teamwork abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must exhibit flexibility and reliability
