This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Ensure precise and prompt payroll processing for designated employee groups.
• Manage timesheets, payroll entries, and approved payroll deductions.
• Review, reconcile, and aid in payroll approval processes.
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and compile payroll journals.
• Address employee payroll inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
• Notify employees and stakeholders of payroll cut-off dates and essential payroll updates.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to resolve payroll queries, furnish necessary information, and ensure accurate payroll outcomes, including compliance with Philippines payroll regulations where applicable.
• Assist with payroll audits, produce standard payroll reports, and prepare payroll data for review by the APAC Payroll Manager.
• Identify issues within payroll processes or opportunities for enhancement and present recommendations to the APAC Payroll Manager.
• Verify payroll entries during processing cycles to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Support initiatives for payroll process enhancements that improve accuracy, efficiency, and the employee experience.
• Assist with and execute other payroll-related tasks as needed.
• Proven hands-on payroll experience, including practical involvement in processing or supporting Philippines payroll.
• Comprehensive understanding of Philippines payroll requirements, encompassing statutory contributions, 13th month pay, holiday pay, night differentials, and mandated leave entitlements.
• Experience collaborating with outsourced payroll providers or payroll vendors is preferred, especially in a Philippines payroll context.
• Strong MS Office proficiency, particularly with Excel functionality and data manipulation skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high numerical accuracy.
• Outstanding time management, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the capability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, proactive attitude, and client service orientation.
• Self-driven with the capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
