
Payroll Consultant – Higher Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and set up Workday Payroll solutions.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of the Workday Payroll product throughout customer interactions.
• Collaborate with clients to gather, clarify, and document business requirements.
• Customize Workday Payroll to meet client specifications and operational needs.
• Clearly document solution decisions to enable customers to maintain and support their environment post go-live.
• Assist with data conversion, integrations, and testing processes.
• Work alongside clients and data conversion teams to facilitate the transition of legacy payroll data into Workday.
• Lead project execution and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
• Regularly update the Engagement Manager on project progression, hours forecasting, time reporting, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in implementing and/or configuring Workday Payroll.
• At least 4 years of experience in a consulting, software, or internal Workday setting with direct responsibility for payroll configuration, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.
