Payroll Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provides consulting services along with technical guidance and support to the Payroll Department and various HR-related functions.

• Responsible for documenting and testing system modifications and educating HR Associates on timekeeping procedures.

• Acts as a resource for the department, addressing inquiries, investigating issues, and resolving concerns related to Payroll and HRIS.

• Functions as the technical authority by offering support and services for payroll and benefits administration.

• Oversees the creation and organization of training materials and guides for Payroll, and coordinates timekeeping training sessions for associates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources is preferred.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.

• 7-9 years of experience with Human Resource Information Systems is preferred.

• 7-9 years of experience with payroll information systems is preferred.

• Proficient in using spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.

• Strong technical knowledge is essential.
